Lois M. Bredfeldt, age 83, a resident of Wheaton and formerly Glen Ellyn, died Wednesday, December 30 at the Du Page Convalescent Center, where she was a resident for over 5 years. She was born on September 29, 1926 in Oak Park, IL and grew up in River Grove.

She married John Bredfeldt on August 24, 1946. They raised their three sons in Park Ridge. After John retired they lived in Florida and Wheaton. She was an active member of Glen Ellyn Bible Church and First Christian Church of Port Charlotte, Florida.

Lois is survived by her husband, John, three sons, Dr. Glenn (Judy) Bredfeldt of Wheaton, Dr. Raymond (Ruth) Bredfeldt of Fayetteville, AR, and Dr. Gary (Marlene) Bredfeldt of Elizabethtown, PA, ten grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ethel Schrader and one brother, Clifford Schrader.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 9, at 11:00 a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton. Friends may visit with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will be held at Memory Gardens Memorial Park in Arlington Heights.
