IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Linda Marie
Weber
March 30, 1948 – November 10, 2022
Linda Marie Weber of Carol Stream, Illinois, peacefully entered the presence of her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ November 10,2022 after a long illness. Linda was born March 30, 1948 to Norman and Emily Quenzler, who along with her brother Bruce Quenzler have preceded her in death. She is survived by her siblings Norman Quenzler, Ellen (Tony)Cassello and Guy (Beverly) Quenzler.
Linda was a devoted wife to Carl E. Weber for 33 years and stood by him as they together raised 6 children. She was preceded in death by Carl in 2008, and a daughter, Kathleen Cowles in 2019. Linda is survived by her children Karla (Tim) Feltes, Brian (Sherry) Weber, Kimberly (Mic) Greyer, Lynette (Jeff) Van Meter and AnnMarie (Mark) Harris. She was a caring Nonni to her grandchildren: Jennifer Gordon, Brent (Lindsey) Gordon, Elizabeth (Trent) Van Dusen, Anna-Kathryn (Kevin) Cooper, Carlye (James) Cardwell, Michele (Tim) Conrad, Samantha (Steven) Hollon, Lane Weber Cowles, Micaela, Madison and Brennan Van Meter and Emilia and Cassia Harris. Linda was also the proud "great" Nonni to Grant, Garrett, And Catie Gordon, Caroline and Brooks Cooper, Pierce, Banks and Lainey Conrad, Chloe Cardwell, and Shae Hollon. Linda's greatest joy was in raising her children and her deepest prayer was that her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren would "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind" Matthew 22:37
Linda graduated from Thornton Fractional South High School. She attended Illinois State University receiving an Elementary Education Degree. Linda often spoke of a mentor during her high school years that helped her chart an educational path, which prompted her to encourage youth through teaching and conversation to seek higher education. A creative at heart, later in life Linda returned to College of DuPage earning an associate degree in Interior Design. She and Carl then collaborated on both home and business projects that brought them great joy together.
After Carl's passing in 2008 Linda began a new season of life, joining her brother Bruce in Tennessee. While building faithful friendships there she began exploring what it means to be a Faithful Follower of Jesus Christ. Her family drew her back to Illinois in 2018. Upon her return, she found great joy in nurturing her children and grandchildren, making new faith filled friendships at Covenant Living at Windsor Park, and joining women of all ages to study the Bible at her new church, Glen Ellyn Bible.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Glen Ellyn Bible Church, where a Celebration of Linda's Life will begin at 12:00. A reception will follow at Glen Oak County Club at 1:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made on Linda's behalf to Glen Ellyn Bible Church .
