Linda Lee Russell, age 62, a resident of Warrenville, IL, died Friday, November 24, 2017, at home. She was born March 5, 1955 in DeKalb, IL.

Linda was an award winning artist and creative welder whose works were comprised of stained glass and salvaged metal. She was a member of the Compass Church in Wheaton, IL and a devoted volunteer for the Warrenville Food Pantry, Christmas Sharing and ESDA.

She is survived by her parents, Ron and Shirley Russell; her sisters, Cheri (Eric) Lund, Beverly (Kevin) Wegrzyn and Bunny (Mike) Mirrilees; her brother, Ron (Kristen) Russell Jr; and many nieces and nephews and their children.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Justin Marshall Carlson to whose care she devoted her life until he passed away on November 30, 2009.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of a funeral service to be held at 3:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Interment will be private.
