Linda Kline, age 60, a resident of Wheaton, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 1, peacefully, at home. She was born November 19, 1956 in Princeton, Illinois to Leland and Clara Turner.
Linda graduated from Princeton High School in 1974 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Taylor University in 1978. After college she moved to Wheaton. She met Douglas Kline in the Singles class at Wheaton Evangelical Free Church (now Compass Church, Wheaton) and they were married on June 25, 1983.
She worked for Hassett Air Express in Elmhurst for a number of years. After raising two children she worked at Servicemaster and then as a teacher's assistant at Jefferson Early Childhood Center from 2007 until recently.
Her Christian faith was an important part of her life and she was an active member of The Compass Church. She taught three year old Sunday School for many years, she loved children and had a passion for working with kids. She enjoyed gardening, reading, good books, and word games and puzzles. She had a great sense of humor. Music was always an important part of her life. She played the piano and enjoyed singing. She loved being with people but most of all loved being with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas, daughter, Cassandra Kline, her son, Joel Kline, her mother, Clara Turner, two sisters, Karen (Kevin) Dean and Carolyn (Jeff) Barron, one brother, Kevin Turner and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her father, Leland Turner.
A visitation will be held Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at

- Wheaton, 520 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton, IL 60187, where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Wheaton Cemetery.
