Obituary
Lillian Henek, age 88, a resident of Wheaton, died Saturday, March 31, at Wynscape Nursing Center. She was born June 22, 1918 in Melrose Park, Illinois.
Lillian served in the US Army during WWII. She retired from Spraying Systems in Carol Stream. She was a long time member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Wheaton and most recently Immanuel Lutheran Church of Hillside.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda (Fred) Miller of Elburn, IL; three grandchildren, Andrew and Zachary Miller, and Sarah (John) Sherman.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kasmir Henek in 1971, her parents David and Theresa Herber and a brother David Herber.
Services and interment are private at Arlington Cemetery in Elmhurst
