Lilian R. Davis, age 55, a resident of Wheaton, died unexpectedly at Central DuPage Hospital on Tuesday, August 17. She was born on November 25, 1948 in Scotland to William and Anne Macrae.
Lilian worked at the DuPage Medical Group in the Diagnostic Imaging Department. She enjoyed gardening, her dog Heidi, and caring for her home. She was an active member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Wheaton.
She is survived by her two brothers, William C. (Linda) Macrae and Edward C. (Sue) Macrae both of England; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Shirley and Joseph Davis; her two sister-in-laws, Jo Anne (Frank) Battista and Chris (Ken) Baer; her brother-in-law, Michael Davis; and her five nephews, Joe (Katie) Battista, Tony Battista, Franco Battista, Phillip Davis, and Garrett Baer; her great-nephew, Christian; her two neices, Tracey (Thom) Battista, and Jackie (Mike) Falbo; and two step-children, Jason and Kellie Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey A. Davis; her parents; and two nephews, Steven and Craig Macrae.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 20, from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton, where services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery.
