Leonard Goff, age 81, a resident of Glen Ellyn, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023.  He was born October 1, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to Leonard F Goff and Anastasia (Bauer) Goff.

Len grew up in Hillside, Illinois, the oldest of three sons. He graduated from Proviso East High School,  and from Western Illinois University with a degree in psychology. He worked for Central Steel and Wire Company as a salesman for nearly 20 years.

Len loved music and movies, amassing a large collection of both, and he enjoyed showing off his collections on his hifi and home theater setups. He was a fan of most sports, in particular Indy car racing. He was deeply interested in new technologies and all things automotive.

Len traveled Europe extensively with his wife Gail and their friends, sharing photos and videos of his travels with friends and family via DVD slideshows he produced himself. His memories of their travels were very special to him; he loved to talk about the places they had been and the food they had enjoyed.

Len is survived by his wife of 30 years, Gail (Sogge); his children Kate (Erik) Goff and Sarah (Mark) Goff; his stepdaughter Melissa Harrison-Hamel; his grandsons Henry Adams, Elliott Adams, and Luke Hamel; his brothers Bill and Ray, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be held  at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187, on Monday, December 18, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Guests are invited to Bar Evolution, 27 N River St, Batavia, IL, for a light lunch at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, December 19th.
