Lena Marie Seal, age 90, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 1, 2014.  She had been a resident of Dupage County Convalescent Center in Wheaton, Illinois for the past 4 1/2 years.

She was born January 12, 1924 in Richmond, Indiana to  Earl Isaiah and Alice Marie Helms.  While she lived most of her life in Brookville, Indiana, she lived almost 30 years in the Chester County, Pennsylvania, area.

She was always active in her church no matter where she lived. In her more recent years she attended Brandywine Baptist Church in Chadds Ford, PA. and Harmony Living Word Assembly in Bath, IN.  Her life was characterized by her countless acts of kindness in addition to her loving care as an L.P.N. for many patients.

Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death, as did one grandson, Chad Willis.  She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Nolan Klemme, Henry Proctor and Henry Seal.

Lena is survived by her two daughters, Earlene Klemme (Ed) Willis of Winfield, IL and Margaret Klemme (Lou) Scarfo of Huntsville, AL.  She  leaves five grandchildren, Todd Willis of Keene, KY, Shannon Willis (Matt) McDonald of St. Charles, IL, Maria Scarfo of Coatesville, PA, Joseph Scarfo of Huntsville, AL and Elaine Scarfo of Englewood, FL.  She also leaves 3 great-grand children, Rilee, Brogan, and Declan McDonald of St. Charles, IL.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at Phillips and Meyers Funeral Home in Brookville, IN on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m, prior to the service.
