Larry Raser, age 72, a resident of Bloomingdale, IL, died September 28, 2021. He was born October 10, 1948 in Chicago, IL to George and Virginia Raser.

Larry was a member of the Carpenters Union and was a master carpenter who worked in the trade industry and loved building things for his family. He had several family members and friends in Door County, WI and loved spending relaxing time there. Larry loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar with his group, Circle of Friends. They were often asked to play at birthdays and at different churches in the area. He was also a member of Parkview Community Church in Glen Ellyn, IL.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 17 years, Jeanne Raser of Bloomingdale, IL, his loving daughter Tess Raser of New York, NY; sister Sandy (Don) Van Eyke; step children Randall (Chris) Thomas, Martyn (Monica) Thomas, Lisa (Keith) Schoch; his niece Katie (Chris) Spinker; his nephew, Matt Kielek; his aunt Darlene (Bill) Heath; and four cousins, Terrie, Dale, David and Amy Cooper.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Parkview Community Church at 764 St Charles Rd, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137. A brief visitation with a tribute slideshow will begin at 12:30 p.m.. His ashes will be scattered off a bluff in Ellison Bay, WI by family.
