Laura Ann Bergmann's Obituary
Laura Ann Bergmann, age 51, a resident of West Chicago, died after a five month battle with cancer on Thursday, January 15 at home. She was born on March 22, 1957 in Chicago.
Laura was a member of the Wheaton VFW Auxiliary #2164. She worked diligently to send care packages to troops in Afghanistan and Iraq, receiving a plaque from the task force commander for her meritorious service.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Tom; her parents, Shirley (Fred) Walters, and Leroy ( Debbie) Neuzil; her sister Dawn (Todd) Trowbridge; and her five nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 24 at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. with a service from 3:00 P.M. until 4:00 PM. Interment is private.
Memorials may be directed to CNS Hospice, 690 E. North Ave., Carol Stream, IL 60188.
