Larry Edwards, age 63, passed away on Tuesday December 4th, 2018, from natural causes. He was a resident of Hanover Park, Illinois for 23 years and was born October 26th 1955 in Chicago to Charles and Evelyn Edwards.

Larry grew up in Rogers Park in Chicago. In 1981, he met Diane Rosen through friends and they were married on July 26th, 1985. They lived in Rogers Park where their three children were born. In 1995 they moved to Hanover Park where he worked as a mail coordinator for 38 years.

He loved classic hot rods and frequented car shows regularly in his own custom-built cars when the weather allowed. He and Di always looked forward to day long drives and weekend trips throughout the Midwest. As much as he loved his cars his family came first. He enjoyed the moment he came home from work because he was reminded every day that he was surrounded by people who loved him. He was most notably a handy man in his home and was able to fix everything, from unstable 33-year-old washers and dryers, plumbing issues, to faulty cabinetry.

Larry is survived by his three children; Spencer, Caitlyn, Keenan. His sister, Linda Gardner (Steve) and his brother, Doug Edwards (Laurie). He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Diane.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 9th, from 1:00 p. until 6:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, where a funeral service will be held at 6 p.m.
