Obituary
A memorial service to give thanks for the life of L. Katherine Wilson will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, on Friday October 6, 2006, at 10:00am.
Kay loved life and lived with a spirit of faith and optimism that sustained her family across several generations. She took great pride in her family, and in later years found particular joy in being a part of the lives of her grandchildren. Her unassuming nature, quick sense of humor, and strong will were gifts from God that she used daily to provide encouragement and comfort to others.
Kay was born and raised in Chicago, and had lived in Wheaton since 1962. She was a long-time member of Trinity Episcopal Church, where she served in several volunteer capacities. She is survived by her daughter Leslie, and sons Greg, and Bob, daughters-in-law Kathie and Linda, and grandchildren Anne, Rob, and Jeanne. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Rob, son Scott, and parents Emma and Conrad Bernodet.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made
