Klaas G. Kuiper's Obituary
Klaas G. Kuiper, 93, of Wheaton, IL, passed away on January 2, 2014, at his home. Klaas was born in Chicago, IL to Henry and Etta Kuiper.
Klaas grew up in Sheboygan, WI. and went on to graduate from the University of Michigan with a Masters in Music Education. He taught and conducted music in Muskegan, MI., North Central College in Naperville, IL., Taylor University in Indiana and the Wheaton Public Schools. He retired in 1980. For 32 years, Klaas sang in the Gary Memorial Methodist Church Choir.
Klass is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia Kuiper, his son Kendal (Pat) Kuiper, daughter Cindee (James) Morgan, four grandchildren and six great granddaughters.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th at 3:00 pm at the Gary Memorial Methodist Church 224 N. Main Street Wheaton, IL. Interment was private.
Memorials may be directed to the Gary Memorial Methodist Church Choir.
