Obituary
Kenneth H. Stroup, Jr., age 57, a resident of Oregon, and formerly of Wheaton, died Monday, January 2, at home. He was born April 23, 1948 in Indianapolis, IN.
Ken was a Vietnam veteran. He received a Purple Heart. He was a tile setter for many years, and enjoyed sports.
He is survived by his mother, Betty of Orlanda, FL; his son, Kenneth H. Stroup, III of Warrenville; two step-sons, Tim and Matt Benson; his brother, Stephen (Sherry) of Pella, IA; his former wife, Mary Rice of Warrenville; and many good friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth H. Stroup, Sr.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, from 6:30 P.M. until the time of a service at 7:00 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. Interment is private.
