Ken was born into this world on April 4th, 1971. Three days later, Marilyn and Lester Carr lovingly brought him to his home in Yates City. As a child, Ken was super energetic and always wanted to learn more by tinkering with machines, appliances and later in computers until he could easily understand what made them tick. He learned his fantastic work ethic on his family's farm which drove him to grow up to graduate from Farmington High School and later DeVry University. He made a name for himself in the corporate world with almost 30 years at IBM, Sears, and Northwestern Medical respectfully. Ken is survived by his loving siblings Jane, Levi, and Summer, his nieces and nephews Leslie, Cody, Lyla, Judson, Dexton, Avenelle, Lexington, Ellie, Oscar, and Monet, and his devoted husband Stan. He's touched many lives in so many ways just by being there and he will be loved and missed by all who knew him, even briefly.
