Kenneth J. Burk, age 88, a resident of Glen Ellyn, IL, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024.  He was born June 9, 1935 in Belleville, IL to Walter & Estelle Burk.

Ken grew up in Peoria, IL. He worked full time at Carson Pirie Scott for 39 years. He graduated from Bradley University in Peoria. He met Mary Ann Masley on a blind date and they were married on June 11, 1960. They moved to Glen Ellyn, IL in 1973. He enjoyed hunting, traveling, reading history, spending time with family, and playing bridge.

He is survived by his two sons David (Tricia) Burk & Kevin (Jennifer) Burk; his grandson Nicholas Kleemann; and his cousin Kathleen (the late Tom) Classen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Mary Ann; and his sister Jean Burk.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton. A funeral mass will follow at 1:00 p.m. at St. Petronille Catholic Church.
