Kathleen M Lorig

Kathleen Lorig, age 79, a resident of Wheaton, IL, previously of Forest Park, IL, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026. She was born June 1, 1947 in Villa Park, IL to Robert & Elsie (nee Skarda) Hoe.

She is survived by her husband, George; her children Daniel Schlichting & Debra Schlichting; her step-children Kelly (Ed) Spohr & Shari (Anthony) Gamba; her grandchildren Nick (Jessica) & Samantha; her great grandchildren Billie Spohr & Dannie Spohr; her siblings Karen (Greg) Moore and Randy (Meri) Hoe, Roger (Kathy) Hoe & Rick Hoe. Also survived by many nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of life will be held on at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187, Sunday, June 28, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the American Lung Association.
