Katherine A. Spader, nee Votaw, age 80, a resident of Colony Park in Carol Stream, IL, formerly of Cranston, RI, died on Friday, July 26, 2024.  She was born July 19, 1944, the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Frederick L. Votaw and the sister of Elizabeth E. Bursie (all deceased).

She was a graduate of Nettleton Commercial College in SD and was retired from CODAC Behavior Health Center in Providence, RI.  She leaves a son, Anthony Bang, four grandchildren, all of Providence, RI, and her brother, John F. Votaw, LTC. (ret.) of Wheaton.
