Katherine Jenkins' Obituary
Katherine Jenkins, age 82, a resident of Wheaton, entered into Eternal Life on Thursday, May 13, peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
She was born on November 17, 1927 in Dearborn, Michigan to Daniel and Eva Griffin. She was an exceptional wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker as well as a 16 year employee at Medical Assistance Program (MAP) in Carol Stream. She was a longtime member of Christ Community Church in Wheaton.
She is survived by her husband Dr. E. Alfred Jenkins, daughters, Judith (Kris Konyha) Jenkins, Sandra (Dr. Ashley) Boyd-Lee, Joan (Dr. Ralph) Kober and granddaughters Katherine, Sarah and Bethany. She was proceeded in death by her parents, sister Margaret, and brother Daniel.
Services will be held on Monday, May 17 at 11:00 am at Christ Community Church, 602 East Geneva Road, Wheaton, IL 60187. Interment will be private in Wheaton Cemetery.
Katherine's family will welcome visitors in Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton, on Sunday, May 16 from 2 until 7pm.
