Katherine Marie Elliott, 79, of Wheaton, IL joined her beloved husband Brian Elliott in heaven on March 29, 2025. Amazing mother of Kelly (Jeff) Woodall and Erin (Jason) Schnack; adored Nana of Chase Woodall, Trevor Woodall, Jordan Schnack and Brandon Schnack; loving aunt of Chrissy Edwards.

Kathy was the daughter of Joseph and Katherine Kanka and is preceded in death by her sister Linda Edwards.  She grew up in Antioch, IL, went to Antioch Community High School where she met her soul mate, Brian, then earned an associate's degree and taught preschool.

Kathy was involved in garden club, PTA and church activities when her daughters were growing up.  She was a terrific hostess, homemaker, cook and conversationalist. She loved her flower gardens and enjoyed vacationing with family and friends.  Her most cherished role was being Nana to her 4 grandchildren.  She orchestrated spectacular "Nana and Papa" days with fun activities for all the kids on a regular basis which made lifelong memories, and she helped take care of her grand puppies.  She attended all the grandkids' sporting events, even making up a schedule to keep everything even.

Her thoughtfulness and servant heart were appreciated by everyone who knew her.  Kathy kept up correspondence to family and friends as a constant way of connecting, uplifting and providing support with the written word. She will be greatly missed but will live on in the love of her family.

A private service will be held in Wheaton.
