Kate (Klimek) Bublitz, age 61, a resident of Wheaton, IL, passed away at home surrounded by her family.  She was born June 12, 1963 in Evanston IL.

Kate grew up on School Street in Chicago IL. She graduated from Downers Grove North High School and later Elmhurst College. She worked at State Farm as a claim handler for 34 years. She loved baking; her specialty was her chocolate chip cookies. She enjoyed summer trips to St. Germain, WI. Her passion was cats as she cared for any cat any time, including strays.

She is survived by her husband, Jay Bublitz, her parents Leroy (Debra) Klimek, and Margaret ( the late RD) Kratovil, her brother Joseph (Delphine) Klimek, and step children, nieces and nephews.
