Karen C. Pacholik, age 66, a resident of Wheaton, IL, went home to be with her savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, July 31, 2018. She passed into eternity while in her home and surrounded by her family.

Karen's greatest quality was her concern for others. She would go out of her way to send a card, ask about, and pray about another's situation. To relax, Karen loved to garden, travel and spend time with her grandpuppies, Rainier and Grace. Karen worked for many years in the corporate headquarters of many financial, legal, and retail firms and ended her career as an officer in the Commercial Financing department of Dutch bank, ABN Amro. Karen was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012 and survived the disease until her passing.

Karen was born July 1, 1952 in Chicago IL to Walter and Clara Jedryck (Jedrzejczyk) and is preceded in death by them and her brother Raymond Richards. She is survived by her husband Michael and son Steven (Dawn) of West Chicago, brothers Robert and Ronald (Judy), and nieces and nephew Cathy (John) Grzyb, Linda (Bobby) Moorhead and Michael Jedryck.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Wheaton Bible Church in West Chicago, Illinois. A private interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, Morton Arboretum, or The Humane Society of the United States.
