Karen Denlinger, age 65, former resident of Wheaton, at peace August 27, 2023.  Karen was born on July 19, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio. Throughout her childhood, she moved with her family and lived in Ohio, New Jersey and Tennessee before settling in Wheaton in 1977.

After completing her Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design at Southern Illinois University, Karen went on to partner with her mother in providing interior design services at Karlyn Design. She was also a CAD Designer at Elasto-Tec in Burr Ridge.

Karen was a loving daughter, dear sister, proud aunt and generous friend.  Karen was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Glenn and Marilyn Denlinger.  She is survived by her brothers, Kurt (Kelly), Dave (Carol), Doug (Katie) and nieces and nephews, Kyle (Kat), Abbey, Kristie, John (Maggie), Ashley and Megan Denlinger. Karen held a special place in her heart for her Denlinger and Booher aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 3, beginning at 1:00pm at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton.  A Memorial Prayer Service will follow at 2:00pm.  The service can be streamed live or accessed at a later date using this link: Memorial Service Livestream Link . Interment will be private at Wheaton Cemetery.
