With grieving hearts, yet not without hope, we want to share with you that Judy (Corcoran) Riek died and passed into glory Wednesday morning, May 22 at the age of 84. She was surrounded by her family as she peacefully left us.  She is survived by her husband and partner in adventure of 60 years, David, her daughter, Tricia Dunning (Jon) of Manhattan, Kansas, and her son Jason Riek (Michelle) of Carol Stream, Illinois and her four grandchildren Lucy, Colin, Jack and Thad, whom she adored.  She is also survived by her sister Randi Clark, sister-in-law Judy Tomasovic and nephews Steve and Mike. Judy was born and raised in Rock Hill, Missouri then lived in Fenton, Missouri with her husband and children. Three years ago she and Dave moved to Carol Stream, Illinois.

Judy was a woman of nonstop curiosity who loved being outside, exploring, birding and learning. She spent much of her married life on the rivers and enjoying the nature of Missouri.  She loved exploring new places in the US and around the world. Judy cared for and loved countless children that she babysat from her home which allowed her to be home with her own children.

There will be a memorial gathering and private burial both in St. Louis at a later date.
