Judith R. "Judy" Samide, age 80, a resident of Wheaton, passed away peacefully at her home on February 24, 2023.  She was born May 28, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to John & Harriet Pyle.

She attended Illinois State University where she met her future husband, Andy. After a brief teaching career, she chose to be a stay-at-home mom to her children Amy, Krista, Michael, and David.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Andrew "Andy" of Wheaton; her children Amy (Daniel) Benson of Batavia & Mike (Laura) Samide of Indianapolis; her grandchildren Gustav (fiancée Christianne Albers) Benson, and Ellie & Rachel Samide.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Thomas, her daughter Krista A. Samide-Barnes and son David Samide.
