Judith W. Dominguez, a resident of Glen Ellyn/Wheaton for more than fifty years, passed away November 24, 2024.  She was born in Camden, New Jersey, on March 25, 1942.

Judy graduated from Houghton College, where she met her husband Rich, with whom she had nine children. She taught elementary school before raising their family in Glen Ellyn. Judy and Rich were part of the College Church, Glen Ellyn Bible Church, Wheaton Christian Grammar School and Wheaton Academy communities. For many years Judy and her dog served as reading tutors at WCGS.

Judy's happy place was the beach. She loved animals, bright clothing, and ice cream. She was known for her generosity, hospitality, and sense of fun. Whether you were in need of a conversation, a meal or a place to stay, her door was always open.  Once you met her, you were forever her friend.

Survivors include her nine children, Jennifer (David) Ochs of Wheaton, IL, Heather (Eric) Jenkinson of Redding, CA, Samuel (Ann) of Denver, CO, Matthew (Jennifer) of Wheaton, IL, Nathan (Amy) of Grand Rapids, MI, Benjamin (Rebecca) of Redding, CA, Megan of Wheaton, IL, Amanda of Wheaton, IL, and Justine (Aaron) Toly of Savannah, GA; and grandchildren Tyler, Ethan, Logan, Dylan, Haley, Jacob (Jordyn,) Abigail, Jonah, Ophelia, Moriah, Phoebe, Anna, Eli, Olivia, Ivy, Eleanor, Joshua, Gabrielle, Rowan, Selah, Claire, George and Emma.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Richard H. Dominguez, in 1995, her parents Loraine and Richard, and her brother Russell.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 1, from 1:30 until 4 p.m., and funeral services will follow at 6 p.m., both at Glen Ellyn Bible Church, 501 Hillside, Ave., Glen Ellyn. Interment at Wheaton Cemetery is private.
