Judith L. Bollman, nee Key, age 86, of Lake Barrington Woods, IL, and formerly of Wheaton, IL, passed away peacefully with her daughter Claudia by her side on Thursday, September 3. Judy fought a long and courageous battle with ALS. She was born August 27, 1929, and later married Claude F. Bollman, Jr.
Judy spent most of her life living in Wheaton. She moved to Lake Barrington Woods 12 years ago to be closer to her family. Judy spent 45 years working at Property Loss Reach Bureau as the Assistant Vice President Treasurer. Although she retired in 2002, she still has many dear friends at the Bureau.
Judy is survived by her daughter, Claudia (David) Gerrard; and is the proud grandmother of Gregory and Kelly Gerrard; the sister of Patricia Bobkoski, Lorell (Bob) Voorhees and the late Jim Key; the fond aunt of many and the special friend of "Puppy".
Judy is preceded in death by her loving husband, Claude; and her parents.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at
Gary Methodist Church
; 224 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL.
Interment is private at Wheaton Cemetery, in Wheaton, IL.
