Joyce Marlene Hundt, age 86, a resident of Janesville, WI, died March 13, 2023.  She was born January 12, 1937 in  Ottumwa, IA to Charles and Edith Britt. At an early age the family moved to Michigan City, IN where her parents owned the Hoosier Food Mart. At age 14 she met her future husband Ronald Hundt. They were married on October 1, 1955 in Michigan City. Marlene was a stay at home mom for many years and worked for Youth For Christ prior to retirement. In 1994 they moved to Lake Holiday in Somonac, IL  where they enjoyed boating and travel. Even after her husband Ron passed away in October 2001 she stayed at Lake Holiday where she enjoyed being part of the Women's Club and traveled with the Park district tour groups. In 2016 She moved to Cedar Crest retirement center in Janesville, WI. where she lived independently for 5 years then into  assisted living and nursing care the past 2 years.

She is survived by her sons, Charles Hundt ( Susan ) of Beloit, WI. & Darrick Hundt ( Kathy ) of Shipshewana, IN.  Son-In-Law Ray ( Barb) Loikets.

Grandchildren: Brittany (Ben) Weltzin, Courtney (Josh) Goodendorf, Brandon (Rachel) Hundt, Kyle (Jenny) Hundt, Kristina (Nick) Casey, Steven Hundt, Kelly (Isaac) Duits, Sarah Hundt and Aubrey (Caleb) Ryan.

15 Great Grandchildren were very special to her. She was a single child and could not believe she would have this large of a family.

She is proceeded in death by her Parents, Husband Ronald and Daughter Gretchen Loikets.

A private family graveside service will be held on March 25, 2023 at Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton, Illinois.
