Joy Edith Osborn's Obituary
Joy Edith Osborn, age 78, a resident of the Holmstad in Batavia, died Saturday, December 3, at the Holmstad's Michealsen Health Center. She was born August 21, 1927 in Cincinnati, OH.
Mrs. Osborn was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, the Central DuPage Hospital Auxilary, Family Service, and the Chicago Rehabilitation Institute. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and an active community member.
She is survived by her sons, Christy (Gayle) Osborn, and Kevin (Sheri) Osborn; her daughter, Gwendolyn Osborn; her grandchildren, Clinton and Jordan Osborn; her brothers Bill and Bob Brunn; and her sister Anne Brunn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lemuel Earl Osborn.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 6, at 10:30 A.M. at the Michealsen Health Center Chapel, 831 N. Batavia Ave., in Batavia. Interment is private.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 1801 S. Meyers Rd., Ste. #100, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181.
