Joshua Adam Nesser, age 37, a resident of Glen Ellyn, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021.

Josh was born in Columbus on March 5, 1984 to Helaine and Harvey Nesser. He remained in Columbus through his childhood and teenage years until attending and graduating from Ohio University in 2006 with a Bachelor's of Business Administration, Finance and Business Law. Shortly thereafter, Josh moved to Chicago and attended Law School at Loyola University Chicago where he graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 2009. Upon graduating, Josh became an attorney at Lavelle Law and spent his entire career there, most recently earning the title of Partner. On September 7, 2013 Josh married the love of his life, his wife, Jill whom he met while at OU. Josh and Jill settled down in Glen Ellyn, IL where their family grew to include three children - Bennett, Quinn and Blaire. Josh was a devoted and loving husband and father. He enjoyed spending time with his family above all else. In addition, Josh was an avid sports fan, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes. Despite Josh's knowledge of professional sports he remained terrible at fantasy football.

All that knew Josh, loved him. His impact and legacy will persist and he will be deeply missed by his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife of eight years, Jill Nesser; his three children: Bennett, Quinn & Blaire; his parents Helaine & Harvey Nesser; his two brothers David Nesser & Michael (Tara) Nesser; his mother & father-in-law Anne & Ken Pensyl; his brothers-in-law Tyler (Molly) Pensyl & Adam (Kristin) Pensyl; and his niece Carly and nephew Connor Pensyl.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home , 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187. A memorial service will be held at Glen Ellyn Covenant Church , 277 Hawthorne Blvd, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137, on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. A livestream of the service will be available on Glen Ellyn Covenant Church's YouTube channel through this link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpI1-Md0wd8KhZ-PXpcaNcw .
