Obituary
Josephine M. Schauer, age 87, a resident of Winfield, and formerly of Cape Girardeau, MO, died Saturday, October 21, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. She was born April 20, 1919 in Bruin, PA.
Josephine enjoyed visiting friends at the Suzanne W. Knuepfer Guest House in Elmhurst, IL on weekends and vacations.
She is survived by her six children, Michael D. of Phoenix, AZ, Sharon Lesley of Rochester, MI, Sheila (Robert) Zinke of Winfield, Marcia (Tom) Schwab of Cape Girardeau, MO, Marina Robinson and Douglas Schauer, both of Phoenix, AZ; five grandchildren, Dale, Tamara, Paul, Hope, and Veronica; three great-grandchildren; and her sister, Audrey Harrah of Apple Valley, CA.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years; and two brothers.
Services and interment are private in Phoenix, AZ.
