Joseph B Mahady, age 69, a long term resident of Wheaton, IL, fell asleep in Christ, March 20, 2021. He was born August 12, 1951 in Greenwich, CT. He is survived by his wife, Gail and daughters, Anne E. of Terra Haute, Indiana (husband Andrew Kneller), and Laura J. of Phoenix, Arizona. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Anna Mahady of Wheaton, three brothers, Paul Mahady (wife Diane Brittain) of Spring Lake NJ, John A. Mahady (wife Blanca Aquino) of Willowbrook, and Thomas D. Mahady of Wheaton.

Joe attended Wheaton College (BA) 1975.He is predeceased in death by his father, Rev. Joseph Mahady, and sister, Nelda Anne Mahady, both of Wheaton, IL.

Joe worked as a property owner and property investment manager in Chicago area and Canada maritime provinces. Joseph was President of Excelsior Financial Services, Ltd. Joe was an accomplished violinist, at one time a concertmaster of regional east coast orchestra.

A private family funeral service will be held at Wheaton Cemetery.
