Joseph David Anderson, age 24, a resident of Montgomery, IL, passed away on Friday, January 2nd, 2015, in Big Rock, IL at Big Rock Forest Preserve. He was born on December 3rd, 1990 in Glendale Heights IL. He was a graduate of Yorkville High School.

Joey worked as a production specialist for Pactiv , which is a commercial manufacturing company.

He loved his music and had many talents. He strived to find and appreciate the beauty in all things by capturing them in songs, photos, drawings and in the written word. His creativity was inspired by his sensitivity to his surroundings and experiences. He was a truly gifted young man and friend to his peers. Much of his spare time was spent helping others in any way he could.

Joey is survived by his father, Paul; his grandparents, Norman and Joanne Anderson; his uncles, Daniel Anderson and James Henning; his aunts, Tina Anderson and Jennifer Henning Smith; his great aunts; and his former step-parents, Deborah Alexander Anderson and Scott W. Hamilton.

Joey was preceded in death by his mother, Karil Ann Henning; and his grandmother, Linda Henning.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 4 - 8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Services and interment are private.
