Jose Aaron Zuñiga, age 43, a resident of Glendale Heights, IL, died March 18, 2023. He was born March 19, 1979 in El Paso, TX to Jose Zuniga & Marina Monroy.

Jose had this God-given ability to uplift you when you were down, to make you smile when you were sad, and to make you laugh when you felt miserable. Always the life of the party, with an unconditional joy and laughter. Despite his life challenges, his roadblocks and/or obstacles, his fire never subsided. Life dealt him one of the worst hands ever, yet he fought for better or for worse and always stood firm in his beliefs. He undoubtedly left his finger print in each one of our souls and will forever be missed. Wouldn't be surprised if he currently has everyone in heaven laughing.

He is survived by his mother, Marina C. Monroy; his sisters Marissa Montes, Maribel (Charles) Zuñiga-Burden and Clarissa Zuñiga; his nephew Gerardo Montes Jr and his nieces Rayniesha A. Morris & Anaya K. Morris. Also survived by his aunt Maria Inez Curiel and his cousins Eduardo & Viridiana Rodriguez and Jesus Minjarez.

He was preceded in death by his father Jose Zuñiga; his paternal grandparents Angel & Concepcion Zuñiga; his maternal grandparents Placidio Curiel & Carlota Rubio.

Services will be held at a later date in El Paso, Texas.
