Obituary
Jonas B. Egeland, age 89, a resident of Williams Bay, Wisconsin and formerly of Oak Park and West Chicago, died Saturday, October 23, at the Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.
He was born on April 2, 1915 in Chicago.
Mr. Egeland is survived by his four children, Nancy (James) Staniels of West Chicago, Dale A. (Ruth) Egeland of St. Charles, Bonnie J. (Nick) Brosh of St. Charles, and Dean M. Egeland of TX; six grandchildren, Bonnie (Cesar) Navarro, James (Melissa) Staniels, Betty (Grant) Tregay, Jennifer and Steven Brosh, and Cheryl (Steve) Testin; six great-grandchildren; and his brother, Rolf.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marian; two brothers; and one sister.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 25, from 4 to 9 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, where services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 A.M.
Interment will follow at Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines.
Memorials may be directed to Lydia Childrens Home, 4300 W. Irving Park, Chicago, Illinois 60641.
