John T. Yunker's Obituary
John T. Yunker, age 61, a resident of Wendell, NC, died on October 14, 2011, at home. He was born November 30, 1949 in Chicago, IL.
John worked for AT&T, and retired from Alcatel-Lucent Technologies.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Yunker of Wendell, NC; his sons, James (Teresa) Yunker, Robert Yunker, and John (Nicole) Yunker; his daughters, Dawn (Bob) Jackson, and Michelle (Michael) Downs; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Marjorie Yunker; and his son, Jeffery A. Yunker.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 1-3 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Interment is private.
Memorial gifts may be directed to Vietnam Veterans of America, 8719 Colesville Road Suite 100, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
