John W. Vick, age 94, a resident of Wheaton, IL, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020, peacefully at home.  He was born September 13, 1926 in McKenzie, Tennessee to Harrold and Allene Vick (nee Hart).

John had many interests and hobbies, and he could accomplish anything he set his mind too. From gardening to yoga to learning to play the piano, he loved to learn new things. He was an extraordinary artist and an all-around wonderful person. He devoted much of his time to caring for neighborhood friends and family members.

He is survived by his daughter in-law Susan (Tommy) Leath, granddaughters Melissa Vick and Carrie (Carlos) Hernandez, and great-granddaughter Carla Hernandez.

John was predeceased by his wife Virginia Vick (nee Baker), son Bill Vick, sister Margie Simmons (nee Vick), and brother Tom Vick.

He will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

Services will be held privately.
