On Saturday, December 14, 2019, John "Jack" Meenan of Elgin, loving husband and father passed away at the age of 81.

Jack was born on April 21, 1938 in Anita, Pennsylvania where he was raised by his grandmother. He married his wife, Marianne on September 3, 1960 and moved to Illinois where they raised two children, Beth and Mark.

Jack loved sports and had a passion for coaching, especially baseball where he coached youth baseball in Carol Stream for many years. He also served as president of the athletic boosters for Glenbard North High School in Carol Stream.

In 1978, he started his own company, Computing Architects, Inc., which he successfully ran until retirement.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marianne, two children, Beth and Mark and five grandchildren.

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2019 from noon until the time of a service at 2:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL.
