John E. Jackson, age 78, a resident of Carol Stream, Illinois, passed away suddenly on November 30, 2019. He was born April 26, 1941 in Delaware, Ohio to Edwin & Wilma Jackson.

Beloved husband of Marilyn. Loving father of Jason (Aggie) & Jeremiah (Jennifer) Jackson and step-father of Patrick (Catherine) Simpson & Timothy Simpson. Cherished grandfather of Elsie, Lucas, Mark, Gabriel, Noah, Micah, Nathaniel, Rex & Ben. Devoted brother of David (the late Marilyn), Roy (Judy), Ann (Tim) McNamara & Connie (Terry) Brew. Fond son-in-law of Antonette Sasso. Dearest brother-in-law of Michelle (Dave) Anderson and Larry (Patty) Holladay. Dear uncle of many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also survived by his dear friend & Aggie's mother, Marta Balicka and Jennifer's parents, Edward & Marlaina Scharf.

Preceded in death by his wife Sharon who died in 2010.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Wheaton Bible Church , 27W500 North Ave, West Chicago, IL 60185, where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. An additional visitation will take place Wednesday, December 11, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home , 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187.

A memorial service will also be held at a later date in Hillsboro, Ohio. Interment will be in Hillsboro Cemetery in Hillsboro, Ohio.
