John Cimbalo, age 102, a 57 year resident of Wheaton, IL went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 27, 2012. He was born February 12, 1910 in Chicago, IL.
John worked for more than 30 years as a tool and die maker for Electro-Motive, a division of GM. He was active in the First Baptist Church of Wheaton and previously the Wheaton Evangelical Free Church.
His interests included traveling, fixing things and riding his bike around town.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Sally and 7 sisters and 1 brother. He is survived by his daughters Nancy (Andy) Trotogot of Flushing, MI and Jean (Wally) Gardziella of Wheaton, IL; granddaughter Michelle (Doug) Ward; grandson Scott (Tammy) Gardziella, 5 great-grandchildren Adam, Sarah, Matthew, Nathan and Grace; and many nieces and nephews.
A private service for the family will be held at Hultgren Funeral Home in Wheaton , IL and interment at Chapel Hill Gardens in Oakbrook Terrace, IL.
