John F. Battista's Obituary
John F. Battista, age 77, a resident of Bolingbrook, IL, and formerly of Wheaton, IL, died on Tuesday October 19, 2010 at home. He was born January 21, 1933 in New York, NY.
Five children, Tina Sliger of Bolingbrook, IL, Barbara (Jim) Parenti of Minooka, IL, Cheryl Battista of Hindsboro, IL, Diane (Glen) Cozzie of Wheaton, IL, and Rose Brossart of Naperville, IL; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and his brother-in-law, Keith (Sherry) Johnson of Jacksonville, FL., survive him.
His wife, Judy, both of his parents and his son-in-law, Chuck Sliger, preceded him in death.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 24 from 2-7 P.M.. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL where a funeral service will be held on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Winfield, IL.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to Disabled American Veterans, 4115 Clinton Ave., Berwyn, IL 60402.
