John M. Battis, 61 a resident of Wheaton, formerly of Pittsburgh died unexpectantly Tues. Oct. 26 at Central Dupage Hospital. He was born in Metuchen, NJ ,June 10, 1943. Mr. Battis worked for many years as a draftsman and design engineer.;beloved brother of Edward (Janet) Battis of Canonsburg, Pa, fond nephew of Sean Battis of Norwalk, CT ;preceded in death by his parents Walter T. and Clara M. Battis. Memorial service at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church Glen Ellyn 22W 415 Butterfield Rd. Glen Ellyn Sat. Oct 30 4:00 pm.
