Jody Piety, age 68, a resident of Wheaton, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. She was born September 14, 1954 in Decatur, Illinois to Merle & Edith Anderson.

Jody worked as a preschool special education teacher at Yates Elementary School in Chicago. She was a member of the Chicago Teacher's Union and College Church in Wheaton. Some of her hobbies include reading and traveling. Taking drives through the property at the Morton Arboretum was something that she treasured. She loved to spend time with her family and her dogs.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Thomas; her three daughters: Charisa, Sarah, and Bethany; her grandchildren: Noah, Zachary, Teaghan, Isabelle, Colette, Lilly, Aidan & Elliott; and her sister Karen Roberts.

She was preceded in death by her brother Don Wallace and her parents.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at College Church in Wheaton, 332 E. Seminary Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187.
