Joan Renette Seyferlich (nee Dewitt), aged 92, passed away peacefully with her family on April 25, 2020. She was born May 14, 1927 in Chicago to Aloysius and Gertrude Dewitt.

She was preceded in death by her four beloved sisters: Alma, Nancy, Betty and Sally.

Joan was fiercely independent, working her way up the ladder at International Harvester from the mailroom to Transportation Manager eventually retiring early to take care of her grandchildren. She was a very family oriented person, a devoted and active grandparent, tirelessly involved in the educational, musical and athletic aspects of their lives and also spent many an evening dining and talking shop with her niece Mary Ellen and her husband Bruce. Joan was a devout Catholic and was a parishioner at Sacred Heart. Joan loved God, her family and her country.

She is survived by her daughter Margaret (John) their children Sarah, Daniel, Jonathan and Elizabeth. Her nieces and nephews: Mary Ellen, Paul (Her godson), Celene, Terry, Pat, Brian, Mark, Katya, Odl, Raymond, Richard, and Andy.

A private burial was held at Assumption Cemetery with her family.
