Joan Irene Petersen's Obituary
Joan Irene Petersen, age 74, of Mesa, AZ, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at home. She was born March 31, 1938 in Chicago, IL.
Joan served as a Pastor at Praise Fellowship Church in Carol Stream, IL where her husband also served.
She is survived by her six children, Chris Petersen, Diane (Vincent) Tijburg, Terry Krall, Kevin Krall, Karla (Ken) Peglow, and Mark Krall; nine grandchildren, Kimberly, Jeffrey, Alijah, Uriah, Miah, Sarah, Rachel, Rebecca, and Sabyre Rae; and her great-granddaughter, Sophia Krall.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James Petersen.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 5, from 4-9 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, in Wheaton, IL. where a funeral service will be held on Friday, April 6, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery.
