Obituary

Jill M. Robb, age 65, a resident of Glen Ellyn, IL, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026. She was born October 26, 1960, in Morristown, New Jersey, to Alfred and Jeanne Arnott.

Jill was a proud alumna of Rutgers University, where she completed her undergraduate studies, and the University of Chicago, where she attended graduate school. She went on to build a meaningful career as a professional Psychometrist, working at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton, IL for several decades. Jill was resolute in her commitment to her patients and approached her work with the same empathy, compassion, and dedication that characterized every part of her life.

Jill was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. She radiated empathy and personified what it means to be selfless. She felt immensely for the people around her and had a remarkable ability to identify the emotional needs of others. Above all else, Jill was a devoted and loving mother who cared deeply about her two sons more than anything else in the world. Her love for Brian and Spencer was always at the center of her life.

Jill was an avid reader and an enthusiastic lover of art and music of all types. She also had a deep love for animals throughout her life, culminating in her beloved dog, Zara. Her curiosity, appreciation for beauty, and compassion for both people and animals were defining parts of who she was.

She is survived by her former husband and partner, Andrew; her sons, Brian (Michelle) and Spencer Robb; her brother, Tim Arnott; and her loving dog, Zara. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Jeanne Arnott; and her brothers, Michael and Stephen Arnott.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 5:00 p.m.
