Jessie G. McKinney, age 89, a resident of Brighton Gardens in Wheaton, IL, died Sunday, November 28, 2011 at home. She was born June 29, 1922 in Lebanon, IN.
Jessie worked for McKinney Real Estate. While living in Cincinnati, OH she volunteered at Beech Acres Children's Home, Mercy Hospital Auxiliary, and at the local library.
She is survived by her daughters, Sheryl (Jim) Linne and Pat (Jack) Armbruster; five grandchildren, Ashley (Robert) Livingston, Collin Armbruster, Kelsey Armbruster, Courtney Linne and Caroline Linne; three great-grandchildren, Robbie, Ellie and Maddie Livingston; two brothers, John and Richard George; and her sister, Jane (Gene) Riner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John McKinney; and her parents, Russell and Olive George.
Private services will be held in Wheaton, IL. Private interment will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, IN.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to Brighton Gardens, 831 Butterfield Road, Wheaton, IL 60189.
