Jerry Wayne Douglas' Obituary
Jerry W. Douglas, age 69, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died June 23, 2013, at Hines VA Hospital in Hines, IL. He was born September 17, 1943 in Waldron, AR.
Jerry was a very involved member of Wheaton Masonic Lodge #269. He was also a member of the Wheaton Rotary Club, and the Wheaton VFW, as well as an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Douglas; his children Michelle (Dan) Gianinni, Jason (Cassy) Douglas, and Denine (Ed) Moriarty; his grandchildren Brittany, Daniel, and Luke Gianinni, Mike and Jessie Moriarty; and his sister Carolyn Hawkins.
A visitation will be held Thurs., June 27, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, where a Masonic Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please direct memorial gifts to Cosley Zoo, 1356 North Gary Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187.
