Jennifer Lynn Winters  (Fritsch) of Wheaton, passed away on April 3, 2017 at age 54 after suffering from a progressive and rapidly degenerating physical condition over the past several months.  Jennifer is survived by: her son, Ian Winters; parents, Kenneth and Barbara; brothers, Kenneth (Ellen) and Stephen (Laura Steele); nephew, Robinson; nieces,  Frances, Clare and Margaret Fritsch. Jennifer was a 1980 graduate of Wheaton-Warrenville high school and a 1985 graduate of Western Illinois University.  While Jennifer struggled with mental illness during her adult life she was a smart, independent, creative and innovative person.  Jennifer spent the past 16 years as a tireless and fierce advocate for her autistic son, Ian and continued even when she had little strength left to sustain herself.
