Jeffrey L. Zlabis, age 66, a resident of Wheaton, IL, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 18, 2022. He was born May 22, 1955 in Chicago to Joseph and Pauline Zlabis.

Jeff grew up in Chicago and moved to LaGrange Park where he graduated from Lyons Township High School. He earned a Bachelor's Degree from Western IL University in Macomb. His passion for people and his competitive nature led him to a career in sales of medical devices.

He enjoyed sports, particularly playing softball, where he was involved with many leagues. He loved coaching youth basketball, baseball and football. He was an avid fan of Chicago sports, and especially loved watching the Chicago Cubs. He loved being outdoors; boating, camping and hiking. Being in nature, surrounded by trees and water, brought him tremendous joy and peace.

His Christian faith was prominent in his life and he was involved with church groups and mentorship programs.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Zlabis, three children, Alex Zlabis, Becca (Jonathan) DeMoss, and Zach Zlabis, and three grandchildren, Joanna, Luke and Leah DeMoss. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, March 25, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Wheaton Bible Church, 27W500 North Ave., West Chicago, IL 60185, where a memorial service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
